From the staff at the Johnson Memorial Library - Mrs. O'Donnell genuinely loved the library and the staff, and we loved her. We know that she enjoyed coming to the library because she always shared that joy with us. Some people; you know will always be kind no matter what, and she was one of them.
She shared her beautiful fan collection with us on more than one occasion along with a few interesting stories about her life. We can't help but miss that kind of a special patron. Our sympathies to Mrs. O'Donnell's family and friends and our thanks for the generous donations to our library.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Always remember the laughter she brought to your lives and the good times you had which can never be taken away. Have comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and that she is in a better place with the angels in heaven.

To our dearest Irene - More than a neighbor, more than a friend, she has been part of our family since the day we moved next door. Since I can remember, Irene was there to share her love, patience, and lessons on life. Without a doubt, she was the sweetest, most kind-hearted person I have ever met. Although we mourn her loss, the angel we all knew on Earth is now being rejoiced in Heaven. I speak for my entire family when I say we feel blessed to have had the opportunity to share our lives with her. Her loving memory and kind spirit will live in our hearts and minds forever.

She was a Proverbs 31 verses 10-31 woman. Her children arise up and call her blessed.

I remember Irene as a vibrant and fascinating lady. As a childhood friend of Diane's, I recall how awed I was by her energy and managerial prowess. With a strong spirit and equally strong faith, she mothered six children. This memory, which spans decades, is as clear as if it were yesterday.
The Truet Family sends heartfelt condolences and support to the O'Donnell Family.

Aunt Irene, although not a blood relative of mine was such a wonderful person to have known. She seemed to know all the recent news about me and my family, everytime she drove down to my dad and Marion's house we would visit and I was always amazed how much she remembered, she was always concerned with my health and was such a compassionate person that we will miss dearly. Laura was always so fond of her and will too miss her dearly.

A gentle lady, an inspiration, and a very special person. I will remember Irene for her poise, her intelligence, and her kindness. She was the mother of my good and closest friend, and I will miss the special relationship that the two of them shared.
With my sincere condolences to her wonderful, loving family.
