BARRY?Madelyn A. nee Kraus, life long resident of Woodbury, on Sept. 16, 2006. Aged 92 years. Madelyn was a loving and devoted homemaker. She worked as a receptionist at the former Glassboro State College and was proud to be employed there during the time of the historic Glassboro Summit Conference in 1967. Madelyn was a devout, life long member of St. Patrick?s Church, where she belonged and served as an officer on the Altar & Rosary Society. She was active in St. Patrick?s School, serving in the PTA, helping to organize the fashion shows in the 1950-60?s. She was a member of both the Woodbury and Tavistock Country Clubs where she enjoyed playing golf. For more than 15 years, Madelyn served as a dedicated volunteer with Underwood-Memorial Hospital, working in the respiratory department. She kept busy with crafts, especially knitting and ceramics. Above all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren, was what gave Madelyn the most joy in life. She is the beloved wife of the late James J., devoted mother of Maureen DiMartile and her husband Joseph, loving grandmother of Julia MacWilliams & her husband Scott and Michael DiMartile & his wife Leslie, loving great grandmother of Jake, Andrew, Meghan & Alexander, dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wed. 7-9 PM and Thurs. 10:30-11:15 AM in St. Patrick RC Church, Cooper St. & Euclid Ave., Woodbury. Funeral Mass Thurs. 11:30 AM. Interment Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua.
