I loved my Dad & tried to show him everyday,just as he showed me.Each time I saw him,no matter when,he'd tell me I was his angel & if he & Mom called God & ordered an angel, she couldn't have been any better than me, how do you top that? He always said he didn't know what he'd do without me, now it's me that doesn't know. I told him I loved him every day,I knew how lucky I was. I'm thankful for the time we had together, just the 2 of us, talking & laughing & for the opportunities we had for he, Mom & I to travel the world. In Franklinville or Paris, we always had fun. We had a special bond,it didn't take his illness to bring us closer, we were always close & nothing will ever replace what I've lost in him. He loved my son with all his heart & the feeling was returned. In honor of his beloved Gramps,just prior to his marriage in March John changed his last name to Addicks. My Dad loved Jeff & told him every day. He always said the day I married Jeff was one of the happiest days in his life, he also told me how lucky I was to be married to such a good looking man!
I have no regrets. I know he & I said what we wanted to say & showed each other all the love we could. I'll miss you Daddy, we all will. Your broken hearted daughter, Jacquie
