Aunt Lil, Rich,Kathy,David,Denise,
I am truly blessed to have had such a wonderful Uncle who always treated me so great as if I were one of his children. I will always remember the wonderful memories in Ocean City how we always went to the Ice Cream Parlor for our famous peach sundaes. I will miss Uncle Benny very much.

Dear Family,
As we near Christmas, it is difficult to imagine Uncle Benny not here on earth with us. Every year I wait impatiently for him and Aunt Lil to come on Christmas Eve. Although he won't be able to bring his pizzelles anymore, he will still be with us in our hearts, and we will rest assured he is in a better place. Although we miss him very much, I can't think of a better way for him to spend Christmas than with Jesus Himself.

Dear DeMarco family,
It is with great sadness mixed with wonderfully fond memories that I send my deepest sympathy to your family. I have known Ben for many years as a member of our Wellness Center "family". I am an employee, and most recently was working with Ben on his strength training routine. He always teased me from the minute he saw me to the minute he left. His usual statement upon opening the door was "so I see you have my parking spot again". He loved to talk about our Toyoto cars mostly how clean his was and how dirty mine was!, his past employment experiences to the most recent wedding of his son. On his last birthday, he made me stand in front of the room and sing Happy Birthday to him while he happily peddled away on the exercise bike. Ben will be sorely missed. He was a friend to everyone that knew him at the Wellness Center.

I never had the honor of knowing Mr. DeMarco, but I believe a person's children are often a reflection of that person. I know Dave well and can see through him what a wonderful man Mr. DeMarco must have been. I look forward to getting to know Mr. DeMarco really well someday when we are in the Presence of our Savior.

To Uncle Benny's entire family:
I am so sorry for your loss and am at a loss for words to comfort all of you. When something happens so suddenly, it's difficult to make sense of it. Know that Uncle Benny loved all of you as you loved him. He will be watching everyone from above with Jack by his side. Keep his memory alive by sharing all of his stories and the good times you had together.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lil, Rich, Kathy, David and Denise,
I was just a little girl when your husband/dad first came into my life, and over the years, he became like a second "big brother" to me. Not only was he a great brother-in-law to both me and Jack/Uncle Jack, but he was also a genuinly caring uncle to my son, daughter, their spouses and their children. Right now, I can think of three major instances when he offered help to either me, Brian or Lisa in our times of need. I will certainly miss our telephone conversations and our many long discussions about religion, vacations, restaurants and food. Sadly, Christmas Eve will never be the same without him. I want you all to know that you were his pride and joy, and that he loved all of you so very much. Speak of him freely, and always keep his memory alive. Surely, he will occupy a very special, loving place in my heart forever.

I am sorry for what happened.I am also very sad. But I know that uncle Benny is happy and safe were he is now. I will miss him and his pizzelles very much. I will never forget him. He was always very loving and nice. He always made pizzelles but when he noticed how much I loved them he made them a
lot more. Once he brought them to me in the summer for no reason. I really loved him and I will miss him.

I am very sorry about this recent tragedy. However, I do feel fully assured. Since Heaven has no sense of Time, Space, Currency, or Dimension, Uncle Benny is now completely in Peace. He has now reached total and final happiness and bliss. He now lives in perfect harmony with the beautific vision. He will be joyous for eternity, free from all human, earthen worries and anxiety. Now I know this sounds trite and "cliche", but he truly is in a better place. I am very honored to the utmost degree that I had a chance to meet someone like him; a great person that will continue to dwell in our hearts and memories: Uncle Benny.

To The DeMarco Family
Like everyone else I was shocked to hear the news about Ben. I had just seen him at the Wellness Center a day or two before. If he wasn't teasing me about my current or former employer he was giving me a hard time about using his favorite locker at the gym. I will always remember his sense of humor and kindness. The Wellness Center won't be the same without him. My prayers are with you all during this most difficult time.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. My father was so proud of our family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family friends. He also liked and respected all his friends at the gym, and had great stories to tell. To him, it was so much more than just a place to work out.

Hello,
Our family is praying for you. Just reading the posts already I feel I am getting to know Ben. One of my memories was recently at Dave's wedding. When I saw how happy Ben was then I knew where David got his smile from.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I have known Ben for over 10 years through the University Wellness Center. He was so dedicated to his exercise routine and to his MANY friends here. Ben loved to talk about his family, food, politics and his wonderful wife. He also loved to tease his friends and give them a hard time about being on "his" equipment. Most recently, he was filled with pride after attending his son's wedding. He said it was absolutely beautiful and had many wonderful memories. Ben filled everyones life with smiles and laughter. We will all miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Kind Regards, Katie Horch

Uncle Benny will truly be missed! So many happy memories of family dinners, parties and vacations.
I will miss his knocks on the door to bring macaroni and beans he made and just wanted to share. And Christmas Eve will never be the same without his being there with homemade pizzelles in hand.
He sat with my daughter, his grand niece, through her PT sessions when I was sick and could not take her. He brought my kids pizzelles in June because he knew they loved them and couldn't wait until Christmas.
That was Uncle Benny :o

Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. Uncle Benny was a great guy! He was always the ?quiet? one, and based on the extremely high decibel level of our family, that is a relative term. He would always be off to the side sharing a joke or a humorous observation. A perfect counterpart to our other dearly departed Uncle, Jack. And, by the way, no one ever referred to Jack as being ?quiet.?
Uncle Benny has been someone that I have known since the day I was born. He was there for every event in the history of our family. The good and the bad. The birth of children, their baptisms, birthdays, weddings, their children?s children, funerals, vacations. All of it.
A great and lasting memory will always be how much he enjoyed Dave?s wedding this past October. He had this big grin plastered on his face all day. And rightly so. Everyone was there sharing in the joy with him. He joked, ?We didn?t think David would ever get married!? and we all laughed. That is the way I will remember him.
Yes, Uncle Benny is gone, and we all miss him already, but a lifetime of memories will always be with us.
Love ? Michael Danese

To the DeMarco Family.
My wife and I were friends with "Gentle Ben" at the UMDNJ Wellness Centerfor the past few years and will miss hi very much. My wife gave Ben recipes for Italian Charistmas cookies and the Tribute "I am a Italian American". Our time at the gym will be very empty without Ben. Due to having a oral operation on Monday we willnot be able to attend the service but will remember him in our prayers. Ed and Rose Yeager
