Obituary of Robert Patrick Maloney

Robert Patrick Maloney, of Sewell, NJ, passed away on April 30th, 2024 at the age of 76. Family Robert is the son of the late George and Eileen (nee Howsley) Maloney and husband to the late Jean Maloney of Glassboro, NJ. Robert leaves behind his half-brother Michael Maloney, his second wife Teresa Maloney and his only son, Daniel Maloney. Legacy Robert was a prominent citizen of Washington Township NJ, serving on the Veterans and Mayor’s Advisory Boards and operating as past Commander of both the Township (521) and Glassboro (241) American Legion posts. Robert was a Vietnam War veteran who served his country with honor as a Navy Corpsman. He was a compassionate teacher of technical theater at Glassboro High School, former President of Glassboro Little League, and also ran Together Youth Services in Glassboro to help combat youth homelessness. His dedication to helping children succeed passes in his son Dan, for which he served as both baseball and soccer coach. Robert is remembered fondly for his humor, compassionate personality, firm integrity, and love for his family. Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Robert's viewing on Thursday, May 9th, 2024 from 9am - 10am, followed by a Funeral Service at 10am located at McGuinness Funeral Home located at 573 Egg Harbor Rd, Sewell NJ 08080.
