Obituary of Serena Rose Myers

Serena Rose Myers, of Killeen, TX and formerly of Hillsboro, Tennessee and Westville, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 24, 2024. She was 15.

Legacy

Born to Stephen Myers and Holly Colraine (Madgey) on April 17th, 2008 in Voorhees, NJ. Serena was a young and beautiful lady, full of potential to make the world around her brighter. She was affectionately known to her family as Midgie, Peanut, Suri or Renee Bear depending on who you were in her life. Serena was a consistent honor student from her early school days and was currently attending the Early College High School in the Killeen Independent School District.

Serena was passionate about her education and her future. She was an outgoing, friendly young lady who enjoyed spending time with her friends and gaming. She loved her summers spent in New Jersey with her Nanny & Pop Pop Mike at the beach in Sea Isle City and swimming at her aunt Kathy's and Uncle Al's.

She and her mother loved to garden; planting beautiful flowers. Together, they would love watching the butterflies that the flowers and plants would attract.

Most of all, Serena enjoyed the art of makeup and spent hours doing her cosmetics to create her perfect look. She and her Mom enjoyed baking , spa days; jamming to their favorite Florida Georgia Line tune "Cruise" and shopping with her Nanny Dawn for the best designer clothing and apparel and when they couldn't shop any longer, Serena and Holly enjoyed making silly videos for her mother's TikTok account.

She was dedicated on her decisions in life and never shied away from telling you the truth. She loved her family deeply. Serena always let her family know that they were loved by her, no matter what. She made sure to be there to tell someone it would be ok if they were sad, and was ecstatic to see you succeed in a goal.

Serena enjoyed being engaged in deep, intelligent conversations and was even known for an occasional debate if she felt strongly enough about the issue. Serena will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved this special young lady.
