Sal Marino

Obituary of Sal Marino

Born to the late Salvatore and Mary (nee Agostini) Marino on January 1, 1947. "Sal" graduated West Deptford high school and enlisted in the United States Navy Corps. During his time in the Navy he was stationed overseas in Guam, where he met the love of his life Edith (nee Paulino) 54 years ago. Sal encouraged Edith to come to the United States, where the couple got married and had five loving children Tammy (Shane) Sours, Kathy Marino, Leilani Marino, Anthony (Danielle) Marino, and Kristal (Jason) Marino. Sal loved spending time with his numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

Sal loved to spend time with his precious cat Creamy who he loved so dearly.  His past fond memories are when he would go fishing with his son Anthony. While Sal was a man of few words, he always made sure to tell his daughters before bedtime to "Dream of sugar plum fairies and little angels", and to his son "Goodnight tough guy". While on the phone with his family it was never goodbye but, to "Be safe, see you later". So in Sal fashion, please read this and know that Sal would like you to be safe.
