Obituary of Charlotte Louise Barrett

Charlotte L. Barrett (nee Cahill) passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at the age of 90. Born to the late James and Charlotte (nee Parker) Cahill on December 22, 1933. Beloved sister to Jim (Jan) Cahill. Loving mother to Charlotte (Ralph) Shiflett and John (Sue) Barrett. Cherished grandmother to Nicole (John), Todd (Jaclyn), and Johnny. Great-grandmother to Nicholas. Charlotte met the love of her life, the late John Barrett (2023) as a young girl. The two grew up together and had been happily married for 70 years. Together, they lived life to the fullest. The couple traveled to the Bahamas, North Carolina, Paris, and Las Vegas, they cherished every moment together. Charlotte and John spent a lot of their summers at their summer vacation home in Long Beach Island with her grandchildren. Charlotte can be remembered for her boisterous personality and fashionable style. She captivated every room that she entered, earning her the nickname "Vanna White" by her coworkers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Charlotte's viewing on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10am - 11am at Infant Jesus Parish - St. Margaret Church located at 845 Third Street, Woodbury Heights NJ 08097, followed by a funeral Mass at 11am.
