Obituary of Rosary Marie Patti

In Loving Memory of Rosary Patti

Rosary, a vivacious, eccentric, and endlessly entertaining soul, has taken her final bow.

Rosary's unique psychic abilities were said to have granted her the ability to fly, allowing her to explore exotic locales in her dreams. She was always prepared for meeting a dashing stranger, routinely applying makeup and perfume before bed.

Rosary was a maverick, unapologetically writing her own rules. The 1960s saw her cruising in a purple Jeep, a reflection of her vibrancy. Breaking with convention, she celebrated her divorce with a divorce party, accompanied by a daring midnight mission to liberate her beloved shrubbery for replanting at her new home. Her eccentricities were legendary. Requiring trick-or-treaters to perform genuine tricks and humorously declaring herself a "pot head" after sporting a gravy pot on her head.

She exuded a movie star aura, always impeccably dressed. Her ability to wear shoes ranging from size 5 to 10 still leaves us baffled. She had a regal side, even requesting that her birthday be celebrated in the spring, like the Queen, as January was far too cold.

Beneath her quirky exterior, she was a beacon of love, generosity, and self-acceptance. Rosary stood as a fearless advocate for all, instilling those values in her family, teaching them to love fiercely and live freely, while also maintaining independence.

Rosary's heart overflowed with love for animals. Throughout her life, she was accompanied by cats, dogs, birds, and even a "pet" squirrel. Her devotion inspired her to open her business, Unique Pets, a pet store she proudly operated for over 30 years.

As we bid farewell to Rosary Patti, we celebrate a life richly lived, where laughter, love, and an unwavering zest for living were her trademarks. Her irreplaceable spirit and memory will forever reside in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She was a wife, a mother, a yaya, a great yaya, a lover, and a friend. But most importantly, she was a force to be reckoned with!
