Obituary of Charles L Boehmer, Jr.

Charles L Boehmer, Jr., 87 of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with family on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

Legacy

Charlie was an avid snow skier, loved to travel and go to concerts. He served in the United States Navy and worked at the Philadelphia Navy Yard as a carpenter/ planner and estimator.

Family

He was a loving and devoted husband of 65 wonderful years to Ruth Ann "Nancy" Boehmer (nee Ullman). Adored father of Chuck and Debbie (Scott). He was a loving, adoring, and very proud Pop-pop to his granddaughter Rachel (Sean). Son of the late Margaret and late Charles L. Boehmer, Sr. Dear brother of the late Eugene (Margaret). He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, October 17th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell New Jersey. Funeral Service at 12:00PM. Interment in Gloucester Country Veterans Memorial Cemetery Williamstown, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or Samaritan www.samaritannj.org.
