Obituary of Etilio Battista

Etilio "Ed" Battista, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  He was 95.
 
Legacy
Ed was born and raised in Philadelphia, where he resided until 1995 when he and his wife relocated to Sicklerville in Camden county , NJ.  Ed was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served during World War II. Following his service time, Ed returned home and enjoyed a long career making and selling Window Treatments. 

Away from work, Ed enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family at their summer home in Ocean City creating memories that will be cherished as his legacy.
 
Family
Ed is the beloved husband of 65 years to the late Philomena; devoted father of Patricia Lewis (Robert) and Paul Battista; loving grandfather of Stephany; adored brother of the late Mary; Seppy. Ed is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
 
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ed's viewing on Thursday after 10AM in the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Washington Twp. where his Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center by visiting their website at www.homewardboundnj.org
