Charles Luketina, 96, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Legacy

Charles was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised his family in West Deptford, NJ. He attended Temple University and Philadelphia Wireless & Technical Schools. A proud member of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. Primary service aboard the USS Columbus CA-74 the Pacific Fleet in China and Japan. After serving he was a civilian employee for the Department of Defense.

Family

He is the beloved husband of the late Mary Luketina (nee Wurm). Devoted father of Dennis (Eileen), Thomas, and Kathryn (Herc). Treasured Grandfather of Matthew (Michelle), Brian (Asel), Justin (Hannah), Samantha, Alison, Michael, Christopher, and Zachary. Adored great grandfather of Mackenzie, Matthew, Michael, Raiann, Elijah, and Braelynn. Predeceased by his parents Caroline and Michael Luketina and brothers Stephen, George, Dan, John, Albert, and Frank. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
