Obituary of Richard J. Marlow

Richard J. Marlow, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023.  He was 79.
 
Legacy
Rich was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Turnersville 46 years ago.  He was a graduate of Bryant College in Rhode Island, Class of 1966.  He then attended American University in Washington D.C. for one year.  He married the love of his life, and then, shortly after, he was drafted into the US Army during Vietnam.  Rich served two years at Ft. Eustis, Virginia and then came home to his family.  
While in college, he studied finance, and after the army worked in banking, until receiving a job as a financial analyst at Christiana Care Medical Center.  He spent the rest of his career there and made many friends along the way.  He retired after 32 years.  
He was a classically trained pianist as a child.  He was very very active in Apostles Lutheran Church, Turnersville, and was the Treasurer, as well as the substitute organist at the church.  

Family
He is the beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara Marlow (nee: Swift); loving father to Richard G. Marlow and his wife Dawn; Cherished grandfather to Jakob Marlow.
 
Farewell Tribute
Family & friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Apostles Lutheran Church, 4401 Black Horse Pike (NJ-42), Turnersville, NJ 08012.  Funeral Service will begin at 12 PM.
