Obituary of Marie E. McCleary

Marie E. McCleary (nee Inman), 91, of Glassboro, New Jersey, passed away with family on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

Legacy

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother sister, aunt and friend. She loved to be around her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, traveling, baking and making her delicious potato salad. She worked at Ace Glass in Vineland for over 40 years.

Family

She is the beloved wife of 66 wonderful years to the late Joseph w. McCleary, Jr. Devoted mother of Kitty Ann Gorman (Charles), Joseph McCleary, III, Cheryl Edwards and Michele McCleary. Cherished grandmother of Melanie (Steve), Natalie (Chad), Jim, Vinny, and Amber (Jordan). Precious great grandmother of nine. Treasured great-great grandmother of 3. Daughter of the late Grace (nee Lindsey) and Paul Inman. Dear Sister to Beverly (Tony), late Paul (late Myra), and Late Edward. Sister-in-law to Doris (late Norwood), late Donald (Late Pat), and late Janet (late Yonnell). She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, June 28th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home- (Washington Twp. Location), Sewell, NJ 08080. Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Interment at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her husband in the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital-www.stjude.org or Alzheimer’s Association-www.alz.org/desjsepa.
