Obituary of Jill Haines Reistle

Jill Haines Reistle, of Mickleton, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was aged 50 years.

Legacy

Born in Philadelphia and raised in various cities along the East Coast. She graduated from Woodstown High School with the Class of 1989 and continued her education at Elizabethtown College and Glassboro State College where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Education. Jill held children with special needs close to her heart and devoted the next 25 plus years to educating them with deep passion and love. In multiple years, Jill was awarded Teacher of the Year honors for her dedication and devotion to her profession.

 

Away from work, Jill enjoyed reading, going to Cowtown Rodeo and theatrical shows on Broadway. Most of all, she enjoyed cheering on Emma in everything she did growing up. Jill will be remembered as a happy, honorable woman with an infectious laugh and warm smile who loved her family very much.

 

Family

Jill is the loving mother of Emma Reistle; beloved daughter of John L. Reistle, Sr. and the late Jean (nee Haines) Reistle; Loving sister of Jack (Jennifer) Reistle; and Joy (Bill) Mintzer; devoted aunt of Leah, Hope, Kaci, Cody and Luke. Jill will be welcomed by her late mother, Jean and nephew, Jake.

 

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Ceremony, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 6:30 PM in the Mickleton Friends Meeting House, 413 Kings Highway, Mickleton, NJ 08056 where there will be fellowship following the Ceremony. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jill's memory may be made to the Cumberland County Special Services School Prom Fund, 13 Ramah Road, Bridgton, NJ 08302.
