Philip Kovilaritch

Obituary of Philip E. Kovilaritch

Philip E. Kovilaritch (76) was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a long time resident of National Park, New Jersey, peacefully left this world on Saturday, December 19, 2020, with his loving family by his side.

Legacy

A man with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Phil was a friend to all who met him. Outgoing and always with a joke up his sleeve, Phil left a lasting impression. Phil had a passion for all-things cars, whether it was fixing or selling them. He was mechanically inclined and took great pleasure in helping others with their vehicles. He made sure to keep up-to-date with the latest technology. Phil prided himself with owning one of the very first car phones!

Phil worked for the Teamsters Union as a truck driver for many years before his employment with ACE Motor Sales in Woodbury as an appraiser. While working countless hours providing for his family, Phil took time to give back to his community by coaching for the National Park Little League Association Pirates. His compassion for children was equally matched by his compassion for animals.

Family

Kovilaritch, Jr. (Paula), Todd Kovilaritch, June Kovilaritch and Jason Kovilaritch (fiancé Lizeth); dear sister to Susan Palermo; beloved grandfather to Amanda, Michael, Shayne and Heather (Mike). Phil is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
