Obituary of Charlotte M Langon

Charlotte Mae Langon (nee Pierce) Of Westville, NJ 

Daughter of the late Wm. Edward and M. Louise Pierce. Pre-deceased by her dear sister M. Louise Rolphing and loving brothers Wm. Edward and Richard W. Pierce. She was survived by her Sister Patricia E Volk of North Fort Myers, FL and Sister-in-law Lucille Pierce of Ormond Beach, FL. She was the precious Mother to Janet Langon of North Grafton, MA, Thomas Edward Langon of Westville, NJ and Cynthia Ann Langon of Lindenwold NJ. Cherished Grandmother to grandchildren Devon M. Bryson, Jeri T Clegg and Gregory J Lopez of Paulsboro, NJ. Cortney Langon of Pitman, NJ and Jesse E and Jeremy E of Southampton, NJ. The lights of her life were her  seven great grandchildren: Owen Bryson, Andrew Clegg, Nicholas Clegg, Chloe Lopez, Evan Lopez, Jace Hain and Matthew Hain and many beloved Nieces and nephews. She was also blessed to have many friends. 

She was born in Philadelphia PA, but lived most of her life in Westville NJ. She lived for periods of time in Aurora, IN, Murfreesboro, TN, Wildwood Crest, NJ and Woodbury, NJ. She moved back to Westville in 1972 where she lived until she got sick in 2019. She was a 1950 Graduate of Woodbury High School. She spent 28 Years working for the State of NJ, Unemployment division retiring as a Senior Claims Examiner in 2002.  She enjoyed reading, gardening and watching the Phillies. She was an exceptionally dedicated Phillies fan, a season ticket holder for years and always enjoyed watching games on TV and in person. 

You could always depend on her to have her house decorated for Christmas with many angels and other items made by her and her Mother. 

She enjoyed traveling around the US and spent many weeks in National Parks. The beach at Wildwood Crest was always a favorite. 

She loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who affectionately called her Grandma Charlotte. Her son-in-law, the late Deven Lopez and his wife Barbara were an important part of her life. She saw her family as the greatest blessing of her life.

Farewell Tribute  

Due to the virus, services will not be held. She will be buried near her parents in Eglington Cemetery in a private ceremony. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice.
