Obituary of Stella Kenney

Stella Theresa Kenney (nee Klinewski), 88, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Legacy Stella was a strong, protective, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who lived solely for her family. Stella enjoyed the comforts of home, being surrounded by music, especially Patsy Cline and the Mummers. She also enjoyed an occasional highball to wind down her day. She dedicated many years as the head housekeeper for the Thunderbird Inn. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Family She is the beloved Wife of the late Joseph Francis Kenney; devoted mother of Stella and Jack Barnes of Deptford, Joseph and Noraliza of Brownsville, Texas, John and Roseann of Glenolden, PA, and Margaret-Ann and Chuck Raab of Westville; loving grandmother of 9; great grandmother of 6; dear sister of Lorraine McCurdy; as well as many nieces and nephews. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Stella's viewing on Tuesday, May 31 9:00 -11:00 AM at the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ where the Funeral Ceremony will follow.
