Obituary of Harriet S Heritage

Harriet S Heritage, 83, of Thorofare, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at home.

Wife of the late Norman R. "Windy" Heritage;  loving mother of Julie Bryngelson & husband Joseph, Shirley McLaughlin & late husband Timothy, Nancy Palmer&  husband Raymond, Sr.; Harriet leaves behind her companion of 20 years, Bill McIlvanie and is the  cherished grandmother of Sarah Leanna & husband Anthony, Aubrey McLaughlin & Shannon McLaughlin; great grandmother of Bryan Leanna; dear sister of Jeanette Snow (Bob) and the late Charlotte Rheiner (Wayne) and Charles Wesley Sooy, Jr.

Harriet loved painting and will be remembered for her craft & collecting porcelain dolls and also her obsession for shopping at Boscov's.  She will be forever known for hosting New Year's Eve parties over the years.  Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchild, and friends.  Her family hopes her legacy lives on, maybe by listening to her favorite music, Cole Porter or Irving Berlin, or just by being a loving Mother and friend.   She had a wicked sense of humor and it lasted to the very end.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18,2020 at McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096 from 9:30 am to 12 pm.  Funeral service will begin at 12 pm.  Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
