Uncle Sam and Aunt Joan will always be in my memories forever. Not only were they my favorites but they were my godparents. I will always remember the family parties and the infamous various swimming pools, and Uncle Sam playing Santa. You will be sorely missed. Love Julie

Uncle Sam will be greatly missed. We always enjoyed the family party and him playing Santa! I am greatful to him and Aunt Joan for taking in my parents, when I was a baby. They were both wonderful godparents, and we always had fun at their July 4th gathering. We loved to swim in the pool when we were kids.
Uncle Sam, we miss you already.

My Uncle Sam, Few people in my life have touched me the way you have. It was my honor to know you and work with you throught the years. Your unwavering devotion to your family and the commitment you gave of yourself to do whatever it took to support them has been an inspiration to me. I will remember most your hearty laugh and how it made me smile just to hear it. I will miss you Uncle Stitch you are a cherished memory.

"Sam,The Candy Man" will be sadly missed by all of us. He was a big part of all our families lifes at St. John Lutheran Church. Our fondest memories will be the great way he could tell a joke, playing Santa Claus every year for the children, and the lollipops he handed out every Sunday at church to the children. We will all miss you very much.

Mr. B was always one of my favorite people. He always made you laugh. It has been many years since I have seen him, but I can still see his smile and hear him laugh as he tells you something funny. I can see his eyes as he would talk to you. It was always a joy to be at his house. He will always be in my heart.

My Dad was the "Family Man." He worked all his life for his family. If we were happy, he was happy. He was unselfish, giving and loving. Who could ask for more? He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather, but most of all he was a man with a loving heart and wonderful and giving spirit.

I will always remember Grandpop for his sense of humor. He always made everyone smile with his jokes. He especially loved to tell me the honeymoon salad joke. He always made me feel welcome and part of the family. He was a loving, giving person who lived to bring joy to others. I will miss him dearly and I am glad that I could bring him some joy - for everytime he saw Megan, his eyes would light up and he'd run to get her ice cream or lollipops. I will always remember he and Megan dancing and singing to "Old Time Rock n' Roll". I know that Grandmom is waiting at the gates with open arms - I love you!
