Obituary of John A. Komorowski

John A. ?Jack? Komorowski, born on January 28, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA. He died on May 31, 2003. John was a US Navy veteran of WW II serving in support of the Normandy invasion. He was a Past Commander of VFW Post # 679, of which he helped to build and was a charter member. Prior to retiring, John was a Design Engineer for Day & Zimmerman International. In his spare time, John was a voracious reader and would read anything dealing with history, art, mysteries and westerns. He also enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra and collecting stamps and coins. Survived by his son, John W. ?Jack? Komorowski, and his wife, Donna; his daughter, Teresa Lehr; his grandchildren, Tami, Douglas, Barbara, Jenna and Kathy-Jo and great-granddaughter, Emily. Predeceased in life by his daughter, Patricia Conaway. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
