Kris, I wanted to thank you for all that you brought to my life. You made me the happiest girl when I was with you. You took my son under you arm, like he was your own. I'll never forget that. He loved you so much and misses you. I can never say good bye to you because I know I will see you again. Mr. and Mrs. Henry, You guys are in my heart and mind every day that goes by. Kris I love you so much and miss you. See YA. Katie

I remember Kris as a little boy. I used to babysit him when he lived on Broad Street in Collingdale with his parents. I think they had a dog too. Lynn, Kris' Mom, was "in love" with her little son. He was about 2 at the time and I, a neighbor down the street, must have been 10.
Kris was adorable. He had big beautiful eyes, freckles on his face and deep brown straight hair. I can still see his small cherub like face. He was a sweet child.
I thought of Kris this past weekend although I had not yet heard of his passing nor had I seen him in years. I thought of Kris because my own daughter, now 3, wanted to sleep with her shoes on. I thought of Kris because I remembered one time I babysat him that he wanted so desperately to keep his shoes on when he went to bed. I thought I was doing the right thing by taking them off but he got so upset with me that he ended up crying until I put them back on! He then fell fast asleep before his parents returned from their date. Kris taught me to let my daughter keep her shoes on.
My heart sunk when I learned of Kris' death. He was so young.
I can see from his picture - in his eyes - that he was still that sweet boy I knew so many years ago. I will remember my dear sweet little Kristopher.
I extend my very deepest sympathies to his Mom and Dad. My prayers are with you.

I found this Irish proverb and wanted to share it with everyone. It immediately reminded me of Kris and the affect he had on so many people:
"Many people will walk in and out or your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart."
I know anyone who reads this will also think of Kris and all the memories you have of him.

I STILL CAN'T COMPREHEND THIS. TO ME IT WILL ALWAYS BE A BAD DREAM. YOUR SON WAS MY BEST FRIEND. HIS LOVE FOR MY FAMILY WAS ALWAYS UNCONDITIONAL AND HE ALWAYS LET US KNOW ABOUT IT. KRIS WAS ACCEPTED WHEREVER HE WENT. HE HAS A WAY WITH FIRST IMPRESSIONS. EVERYONES PARENTS THOUGHT HE WAS SUCH A GENTLEMAN AND A SWEETHEART. I HAVE SPENT THE LAST 5 OR 6 YEARS DOING WHAT I COULD TO BE A GREAT FRIEND TO KRIS. SEE I HAVE THE BEST THING TO KEEP KRIS IN MY HEART AND IN MY MIND. I HAVE THE COMPLIMENTS THAT HE GAVE ME. HE DIDN'T KEEP THOSE JUST BETWEEN US. HE TOLD EVERYONE ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILY. THE HARDEST PART OF THIS WEEK IS HOW MANY TIMES I AM TOLD HOW MUCH HE LOVED MY FAMILY AND ESPECIALLY ME. I HOPE THIS GIVES YOU SOME INDICATION AS TO HOW PROUD I AM TO BE KNOWN AS KRIS' BEST FRIEND. THANK YOU KRIS, I LOVE YOU.
