Obituary of Wilson Fernandes

FERNANDES?Wilson, longtime resident of Westville on June 30, 2003. Aged 82 years. Born in Taunton, MA, Mr. Fernandes was a US Army / Merchant Marine Veteran of WWII. He was an active businessman in the Westville community for many years. He established and operated the store known as Elray Photo as well as the Westville Boat Launch. In his spare time he enjoyed reading and the stock and real estate markets. He is the beloved husband of Caroline nee Sippel, devoted father of Manuel Fernandes, step-father of Clifford A. Grant & his wife Sherry A., dear brother of Yvonne Ferreira, loving grandfather of Shawne, Kelly & Tracey, great-grandfather of Celina, William & Jonathan, dear uncle of Dolores Novick and great uncle to Kathryn Novick. Funeral service Thurs 8 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, where friends may call after 6:30 PM. Interment will be private.
