Obituary of Charles F. Whyte

WHYTE?Charles F. of Woodbury, son of the late Florence & Harry Wickizer on December 8, 2003 after a long illness. Born in Towanda, PA, Charles moved to Woodbury when he was 4 years old. Charles served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict where he worked as an aircraft mechanic. Prior to retirement, he worked as an electrician with the Delaware River Port Authority for over 33 years. Following retirement, he achieved a long time goal and traveled cross country with his wife Audrey. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed socializing with friends and spending time with his grandchildren at Redbank Battlefield, National Park. He is the beloved husband of 25 years to Audrey L. nee Page, devoted father of Donna Whyte-English Wayne, Keith Whyte Ronni, Jeff Whyte, Joseph Coldren, Peggy Ulmer James, Greg Whyte Mary and Harry Coldren, loving pop-pop of Danielle, Jenna, Miranda, Jimmy & Maggie, dear brother of Norman Wickizer June, Uncle to several nieces & newphews. Memorial service Thurs 12:30 in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury where friends may call after 10:30 AM.
