Smithson, Joan M. nee Brucker of Woodbury, NJ on January 13, 2004. Age 51 years. Born in St. Paul, MN, Joan moved to New Jersey and has resided in the Woodbury area for the past 40 years. Of her many talents that she offered those who met her, Joan was an AVON and Tupperware Representative. She worked for Grants and JC Penney but most of all , Joan was a homemaker and housewife for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, shopping, reading her Bible and listening to music. She will be remembered as a compassionate, loving woman who placed others needs before her own. She is the beloved wife for 31 years of Joseph R. Dear daughter of Grant S. and Dorothy M. Brucker. Loving mother of Kathleen Cortes and her husband Ramon. Devoted grandmother of Anamarie and Ramon. Caring sister of Dianne E. Adams, Berton G., Ronald L. Melvin C. and Dale C. Brucker.
