I knew I was going to love Carole from the first time I met her. Carole and Dad were living in Washington Twp and Dad was sitting at the kitchen table with me. Well, Daddy said something Carole didn't like and she rolled up a magazine and bopped him on the head. I knew then, this woman is going to be great for my Daddy. She'll keep him in line. I loved her quiet sense of humor. I am going to miss her very very much. She was a brave and compassionate woman and my life is better for having known her.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Carole's passing. I worked with her at For Eyes until 1997. She had an amazingly positive attitude no matter what was going on around her. I will always remember Carole as a caring woman who was willing to share anything, from thoughtful advice to her favorite recipes. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and anyone who was touched by her kindness.

Carole was my dear friend. When I met her 10 years ago at For Eyes I was very impressed by her warmth and class. We became "culture buddies". We would call up each other and say "I need a culture fix". We saw plays, movies, and took many trips into Philly to lunch and visit museums and gardens. I would always say to Carol, because she alway's drove, that I was too afraid to drive in Philly. She said she had decided a long time ago that if she was going to experience life she had to get over her fears and just do it! I so admired her for her wisdom and positive outlook. I will miss her terribly.

Dave,
Carol was a beautiful, kind, and strong woman and Les and I are fortunate to have known someone with such a zest for life. As you know, she found us our home over 19 years ago where we have sinced raised our family. I don't think anyone would have worked as hard as she did to help us find the right place to raise our kids and we love her for it. We hope you and the rest of her family and friends celebrate her life and look at it as a blessing that each of us were able to know and experience such a wonderfully warm and inspirational woman.
Love,
Ken, Les, Brittany, and Ryan

We are very thankful for knowing Carole and Dave. They were always fun to travel with and talk over old times. We will miss her greatly. She was so much fun to be with, and one of the few people Grace felt comfortable with. Dave, please remember the good times and keep in contact with us. God Bless and keep Carole.
Love,
Grace and Jim Cunningham

Carole was a very wonderful and thoughtful woman. She endured much to raise her children and to cope with her bouts with cancer, but that shows you how strong in both faith and character she was. I was lucky to have been able to visit her in January and to talk with her and to play dominoes with her and Dave. Her passing as really saddened me but the delight in knowing she is seating before our Lord in Heaven will always bring joy to me. I will pray for you, Dave, and you can always count on us to be here for you.
Love
Chris

The world is a lesser place without my friend and mother-in-law Carole. She was an excellent grandmother to our two children Megan and Caitlin. Carole was a good woman who was always supportive, warm and a positive influence - and I loved her. I will miss her.

I WORKED WITH CAROLE IN THE FOR EYES STORE IN VOORHEES.
CAROLE WAS ONE OF SWEETEST, WARMEST, KINDEST PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET. I CAN'T EVER REMEMBER SEEING CAROLE WITHOUT A SMILE OR HAVING A KIND WORD TO SAY. I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR OF HER PASSING.

There is a top ten list for so many things now a days. But back when there weren't so many; when being on the "Top Ten" meant something; my sister Carole was on my Top Ten list.
Carole was the one who taught me how to sew. She was the one who bought me my first piece of jewelry when she went on her Senior trip to New York. It was a bracelet from Chinatown. It's colors are faded but I still wear it.
She was a four time survivor of cancer. She had her first fight with it when she was only 25 and it kept revisiting her in many ways, but it was not the reason she was taken from us.
Carole was always positive. I never heard her ask why she had so many adversities. She kept on going and doing and touching other lives.
She was my big sister and the woman I admired most. I will miss her greatly.

I knew Carole in Charleston, SC when we both worked for NDI. She was a lovely lady and one that I became fast friends with. She was a delight to talk to sooo smart!, a warm kind-hearted person. She made the world a better place for all who knew her. Dave, I'm so happy she was a part of your life. We're all blessed for having known her. She will be greatly, sadly missed.

My sincere condolences on the loss of Carole. I was a co-worker of hers at For Eyes until 1997 and have been in to visit her periodically since. I always loved talking to her about almost anything, and very much enjoyed her insights into a variety of subjects. She will be sorely missed by those of us that knew her.
