Obituary of William S. Hoard

William S. Hoard, 81, formerly of Woodbury, West Deptford and Audubon died February 8, 2004 in the New Jersey Veterans Home Vineland. Mr. Hoard was born in Jackson, MS and moved to S. Jersey before World War II. Mr. Hoard enlisted in the US Navy and saw duty in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Hoard worked as an Ironworker for 30 years in Local #401 of Philadelphia. During his work career, he worked on nearly every major span between Philadelphia and Washington. Mr. Hoard was a member of the American Legion Post #262 of Audubon. He was the husband of the late Irene nee Baldwin. He is survived by his daughters, Janice Bogacki and Constance Irene Osbourne and son, Ronald. Brother of Willie Bogus. Grandfather of 10. Greatgrandfather of 5. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday in St. Patrick?s RC Church 64 Cooper St. Woodbury where friends will gather at 10:45 AM. Interment Brig.
