Obituary of Joan H. Carney

JOAN H. CARNEY nee Haulman, 69 of Stratford, NJ on March 9, 2004. Beloved mother of Lourdeen C. Carney of Palm Springs, CA and Eileen Kuitula and husband Ron of Troy, Michigan. Adored grandmother of Martha and Alice Kuitula. Devoted sister of Constance M. Teesdale of Sicklerville, Barbara A. Ewald and husband, George of Somerdale, Patricia J. Haulman of Stratford. Sister-in-law of Sr. Marita Margaret, IHM of Philadelphia. Much loved Aunt of eight nieces and nephews and ten greatnieces and greatnephews. Joan was a 1952 graduate of Camden Catholic High School. She was an employee of RCA in Camden for 36 years. She played basketball for 10 years in the womens industrial league for RCA and Kenny's Restaurant. She worked diligently as a volunteer counselor for WAR Women Against Rapefor 15 years. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday March 27, 2004. The service will be held at St. Luke's RC Church 55 Warwick Road., Stratford, NJ where the family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations being made in Joan's name to St. Mary's Catholic Home, 210 St. Mary's Drive, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.
