Obituary of Virginia G. Buffum

Buffum, Virginia G. nee Garrity of Collingswood, on April 23, 2004. Age 79 years. Born and raised in Altoona, PA, Virginia later moved to Collingswood where she resided for more than 50 years. She was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Education. Virginia later taught in both the Woodbury and Collingswood High Schools. She enjoyed reading, swimming, sewing, traveling and spending time at the shore. Virginia?s greatest pleasure was her family and watching her students blossom and develop into young adults. Beloved wife of the late Philip. Loving mother of James J. Buffum and his wife Kathy. Dear grandmother of Laura Buffum and Marianne Buffum-Noelte and her husband Brandon. Devoted sister of Joseph Garrity. Viewing Tuesday morning 11 to 11:45 in St. John?s R.C. Church, Park Avenue, Collingswood. Funeral Mass 12 Noon. Interment Private.
