Obituary of Charles W. Mead

Mead, Charles W. ?Warren? Sr. of Woodbury on June 18, 2004. Aged 77 years. Born and raised in Palmyra, Warren later moved to Woodbury where he has lived for the past 60 years. He worked as a cook for the Gloucester County Jail and for Joe?s #2 Diner in Verga for more than 35 years. In his spare time he enjoyed being a member of the American Legion Post #133 of Woodbury and playing Shuffleboard. Warren will be remembered as a pleasant man who enjoyed spending time with his family. Loving father of Charles W. Jr and his fiancé Joyce, Joan Taylor and her husband Ron, John Kelly and his wife Mauralee, Edward Kelly and his wife Christine. Dear brother of Lois DiRenzo, Fred Mead, Donald Mead, Joan Simon, Sandra Hess, and the late Shirley Hagmaier, Norma Williams, Ruth Kempton, Bud and Earl Mead. Former husband of Joan Costin. Grandfather of 7. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Viewing Wednesday after 11 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury. Funeral Service 1 PM in the Funeral Home.
