Obituary of Thomas C. Mihalic

Mihalic, Thomas C. ?Tom? of Washington Twp. On July 1, 2004. Age 72 years. Born and raised in Erie, PA, Tom later moved to Somerdale where he resided for more than 25 years until moving to Washington Twp. Five years ago. Tom served in the United States Marines during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 3 Stars, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Tom worked for Amtrak for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1997. In his spare time, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He will be remembered as a loyal and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Beloved husband for 49 years to Diane nee DiMenna Loving father of Sharon Viggiano and her husband Dominic, Thomas M. Mihalic and his wife Patricia and Frank M. Mihalic and his wife Kimberly. Dear grandfather of Kelly, Thomas, Frank and Tara. Devoted brother of Martha Szolomeyer, Theresa Hoydick, Elizabeth Manning, Veronica Cywinski, Joseph Mihalic, Kay McCandless, and the late Rev. Francis Mihalic, SVD, Anthony Mihalic, and Barbara Gusky. Viewing Tuesday evening 6:30 to 9 and Wednesday after 8:15 in the McGuinness Washington Twp.
