Obituary of Leo Hoffman

HOFFMAN, Leo of National Park on August 6, 2004. Aged 80 years. Mr. Hoffman was U. S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and the American and European African-Middle Eastern Service Medals. He was a member of VFW Post # 6884 and Army & Navy Union Garrison # 52 in National Park, American Legion Post # 133 in Woodbury, and the Disabled Veterans Association DAV. Before retiring in 1986, Mr. Hoffman was an engineer for American Dredging Co. in Camden for over 45 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Beloved husband for 62 years of Sylvia Nee Fritz. Devoted father of Diane of National Park, Leo of Folsom, Ron and Robert of National Park, Elizabeth Bennett of Barnsboro, and Gladys Monte of National Park. Loving grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 19. Viewing WED. 11 AM to 12:30 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral service WED. 12:30 PM in the funeral home.
