Obituary of Margaret D. Armitage

ARMITAGE, Margaret D. ?Peg? Nee Laughlin of Paulsboro, NJ, formerly of National Park, on August 6, 2004. Aged 80 years. Mrs. Armitage was a veteran of the Women?s Army Air Corp serving during World War II. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for VFW Post # 6884 in National Park. For most of her life, Mrs. Armitage was a homemaker, but also worked as a housekeeper at Gloucester County Municipal Offices. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching sports, especially football, fishing, and spending time with her family. Beloved wife for 54 years of Joseph J. Devoted mother of Rita Dooling Michael of National Park, NJ, and Timothy Armitage Janet of Mullica Hill, NJ. Loving grandmother of Michael and Kelly Dooling and Jennifer and Brian Armitage. Dear sister of Edward Laughlin Elsie of Port St. Lucie, FL, Eleanor Bennett of Levittown, PA, Patricia Tucci Ugo of Philadelphia, PA, Michael Laughlin Jorgeann of Marlton, NJ, and the late Mary Woods and James, Francis, and Rita Laughlin.
