Obituary of Robert F. Di Bernardo

Robert F. Di Bernardo, 77, of Vineland, NJ passed away Monday October 11, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Philadelphia and moved 9 years ago to Vineland from Woodbury. Robert was a US Military career man, serving as a Master Sergeant. He received the National Defense Service Medal 1st OLC, JSC Medal, AFEM, VSM, Good Conduct medal 6th award, Army Commendation Medal, SS Rifle M-14, Republic of Vietnam Commendation Medal W/DVC 60, 1:O/S SVC Bar. After his career in the military, he worked for CBS Records, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Diamond Social Club, the American Legion and the VFW in Vineland and Woodbury. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards abd ballroom dancing. He was a handyman and enjoyed tinkering around the house. Mr. Di Bernardo is survived by his wife, Angelina Lillie; sons Mark & Marylynne; Randy & Mary Kathryn, Dale & Tammy and Vincent & Christina Di Bernardo; a daughter, Tina & Steven Capone. He is also survived by a brother Paulino Mangiardi and sisters, Ann Cioffi and Martina Geiger. There are 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 PM in the Rone Funeral Home 1110 East Chestnut Ave. Vineland. A second viewing will be held Saturday morning from 9-10:30 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday in the McGuinness Funeral Home.
