Obituary of Lee Joseph

Lee Joseph, 86 of West Deptford died on November 6, 2004 in the Underwood ?Memorial Hospital Woodbury. Mr. Joseph was born in Philadelphia. He was a World War II US Army veteran.Mr. Joseph worked on Radar Systems and participated in the invasions of southern France, Italy and Africa. Following the war, he received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Temple University in 1949.He was an Advertising Salesman for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 37 years until his retirement in 1982.Mr. Joseph enjoyed golf and the Phillies. He?ll be forever remembered for his piano playing and singing. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane nee Alexander and three sons, Lee Joseph; Steven Joseph and James Joseph. There are 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Dan & Kelly Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. The viewing will begin at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Eglington Cemetery.
