Obituary of Juanita H. Cooksey

COOKSEY, Juanita H. ?J.C.? of Somerdale, NJ, on November 12, 2004 passed at the age of 86. For 2 years, Mrs. Cooksey served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Before pursuing a lengthy career in Real Estate, Mrs. Cooksey studied at the University of Pennsylvania. She was employed for many years at Ebling & Royce. For over 40 years, ?J.C.? enjoyed a career as a Real Estate Broker with Century 21, Fox and Lazo, Weichert Realty, and Harvest Realty. She was the oldest practicing Realtor in New Jersey. She was a member of the Board of Realtors. Mrs. Cooksey will be remembered as an independent, determined and gracious sole who enjoyed her spare time with her family. She was the beloved wife for 43 years of the late Robert and devoted mother of BobBud, Jackie, Mike and Jody. She was a dear sister of Betty, Dick and Jay and Loving grandmother of Tony, Linda, Loren, Gia and Stephanie. Visitation will be FRI., Nov. 26th from 6:30 - 8 PM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ with memorial service to follow in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
