Obituary of Doris Ann Lyons

LYONS? Doris A. nee Fuerneisen -Devoted Homemaker- of Brooklawn suddenly on Feb. 6, 2005. Aged 78 years. Doris was a devoted and very active member of the Brooklawn United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she taught Sunday School something she?s done since age 16, was a youth advisor and instructed Vacation Bible School. She and her family spent summers in Wildwood and was an associate member of the Wildwood Crest United Methodist Church. In the 1970?s, Doris enjoyed working with children at the Fellowship House, Camden through their outreach program. Doris enjoyed being a member and traveling with the 60 Plus Club, Brooklawn. She is the beloved wife of 56 years to Edwin, devoted mother of Carol Frangicetto & her husband Tom, Peggy Bradshaw & her husband Dave, Arlene Shute & her husband George, Denise Dobbins & her husband Ray, dear sister of Frank & his wife Mae and Thomas & his wife Lucille Fuerneisen, dear sister-in-law of Herbert Butterfield, loving grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of 7. Funeral Service Thurs. 10 AM in the Brooklawn United Methodist Church, 213 Maude Ave., Brooklawn 08030, where relatives & friends may attend her Viewing Wed 6:30-9 PM and Thurs after 9 AM.
