A few of my fondest memories were when I was a kid, my brothers Mike & Joe would play tricks on me in the "Big Woods" in Roebling. There are many funny stores about that. Also when Mike played football for the Roebling Holy Name. He would let me carry his helmet for him and that way I got in the games free. He encouraged me to play football.
Mike will always be in my prayers along with Mom & Pop, brother George, and sisters Anne & Frances.

There are too many memories to write down or think of or try to share; I think the thing I'll cherish most -- always -- is that I was even so blessed to begin with for the opportunity of having you so present in my life.
You were a fine gentleman and an ever finer granfather. I missed you the moment you left.
My love to everyone -- Jenn

This is the irish blessing that Mike and Brian read during the viewing. It is a good thought that should help ease the pain during these tough times.
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things, I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief-
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
Grandpop was a good man that went out of his way to be with his family and his grandchildren. He attended all of our graduations and even traveled with us to the many places we moved to... Flordia, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania. I will miss him very much.
Love,
Brian

As we grow older, we realize what family means to us. Having a man in our family like Uncle Mike, it made our family complete. Being married to my godmother, Uncle Mike was very special to me. I will never forget his sense of humor, his kindess toward me & my kids. I will truly miss Uncle Mike. May God bless him and keep a watch over Aunt Florence.
