To the Smith Family:
I'm so sorry for the loss of Thomas.
I feel so blessed to have met him for such a short time. He was a very happy and gentle soul. Thomas will be greatly missed, I wish he were still here, I will be hard for me to get used to him not being there and I know you must feel the same. There is always a rainbow at the end of every rain and I know that where he is now we shall one day see him again.
Sincerly,
Karin McElrath

I remember Tommy walking home, on Buck Street, with books and an musical instrument in hand. You knew cousin Tommy was going to achieve his goals. He had the confident manner of a musician. God bless you cousin Tommy. To Cousin Etta and the family may the peace of God be with you. My christian faith tells me "joy comes in the morning."

To Tom's family and friends,
I am saddened to hear of your loss. Although I only knew Tom from the occasional greeting in the hallways, or a pass-by in the Housekeeping office, I could tell he was a very kind and decent person. I will miss our quick hello's and wish I could have gotten to know him better. I would have really enjoyed hearing his music, which I know was dear to him.
I hope you find solace in knowing that he will be greatly missed by those that worked with and were friends with him in Las Vegas.
With my deepest sympathy,
Mark

To Thomas' family: Please accept my deepest condolences at this time of sorrow in our lives. I am still trying to fathom this news, received just this morning. Thomas spoke of his family often and with great love and respect. Thomas was my best friend, and I miss him so much, I am unable to express it in mere words. He was one of the best people I have ever met in my life. He touched my life in so many ways, which have uplifted my soul immeasurably over the past 20 years. No one can fill his place in my soul. I am trying to make arrangements to come to N.J. this weekend, and will do my level best to be there with all of you. Thomas was "one of a kind", and I was blessed to have him in my life. Part of my heart will be with him always. I loved him like family. I am so sorry for this loss to your family and to the world. With heartfelt sympathy and love - Susan Keller

To Tom's family, I am so sorry for your lost that I also consider mine because Tom was sach a great person/friend that I also feel very sad not having him around any more. One of the things that I will always remember is that every time I called him Mr. Smith he told me not to, because I made him feel old.In reality he was not an old person, specially when he dance the cha cha cha. Here at Harrah's Housekeeping we will always keep him in our harts.
