Sanford T. ?Sam? Kennedy, 89, of National Park, on March 31, 2005. Devoted father to Thomas & Jonell Kennedy; Ronald; Alvina & Russ Carter; Mary Ann & Edward Whitmire and the late Lawrence. Step-father of Gracie and Catherine. Grandfather of 14. Greatgrandfather of 9. Sanford was born on the family farm in SW Philadelphia the youngest of 15 children. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a mechanic for CDT in Camden. He was a quiet, happy man who enjoyed gardening and the casinos. He was devoted to his grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.
