Obituary of Alfred W. Rodney

Rodney, Sr., Alfred, 78, of Deptford, NJ suddenly on April 23, 2005 in the Cooper Medical Center. Mr. Rodney was born in New Sharon section of Deptford. He was employed as a farmer on the family farm and also for Norman Lichtman?s Farms. He later drove for Wilenta Feed Company of Lakewood, NJ. Al enjoyed the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were favorite activities. He was a member of the Woodbury Stag Gunning Club; the Rhiel West Appleton Lodge in Maine and the 5 Points McDonalds Bingo Buddies. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Nee Baldwin , devoted children, Alfred, Jr. and Nancy Rodney and one sister, Alberta Griggs. Al is also survived by many nieces and nephews and two special unofficial nephews, Jack & Phil. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 28, 2005, in the McGuinness-Washington Twp. Funeral Home 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Twp., where a viewing will begin at 9:30 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park.
