Obituary of Mary Beth Martelli

MARTELLI, Mary Beth Nee Bowen- a lifelong resident of Washington Township. Mary passed away on June 2, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer for several years. She was 51 years of age. Mary was a dedicated bus driver for Washington Twp. Schools for over 17 years. She also served many years as an EMT and a lifetime member of the Washington Twp. Ambulance & Rescue Assoc. Mary will be remembered as a person who had a strong love for animals; dogs, cats, raccoons, squirrels and even a kangaroo were among those that she took under her care. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving family: Her beloved husband of 34 years; Joseph R., devoted mother of Kelly Strube & her husband Harry, Timothy and his wife Vickie, Joanne and Lois Martelli, dear sister of Shyrl Goss, Michael, John, James & Joseph Bowen, Susan Wegmann and the late Thomas Bowen, dear daughter of Lois May and the late Anthony Bowen, loving grandmother of Mary, Timothy, Charles, Jessica, Madeleine, Micah, Michaela & Connor.
