Obituary of Robert Joseph Piehler

PIEHLER?Robert J. of Deptford on June 4, 2005. Aged 84 years. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Robert was the son of the late Robert and Margaret Nee Smith Piehler and the brother of the late George. Robert was a proud US Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked most of his life as a plumber with UAW, local #1, NYC. At one time, he also owned his own hardware store and yellow taxi. Robert will be remembered as good hearted, family man with a great sense of humor who enjoyed following the stock market daily. He is the beloved husband of 59 years to Rita J. nee Papagno, devoted father and hero of Donna DuFault & her fiancé Patrick Cassady, loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, also survived by many dear friends. Viewing Thursday 6:30-9 PM and Friday 8:30-9:15 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Burial Office & Holy Eucharist Friday at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, North Monroe & Poplar Aves., Wenonah.
