Obituary of John R. Richards

RICHARDS?John R. of Turnersville on June 10, 2005. Aged 75 years. John was a proud US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement in 1997, John worked for the F.W. Woolworth Co. for over 50 years, managing many of their food operations in the tri-state area and serving as a district manager for 15 years. John and his wife Carol spent many years devoting their time and passion to organizations within the Masons and Shriners. He was a member of the following: Henry Haines F & AM Lodge #253, Crafton Royal Arch #312, Charties Commander #78, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star #201, Directors Staff, Camden Shrine Club, Crescent Shriner and the Royal Order of Jester #64. He is the beloved husband of 45 years to Carol J. nee Prettyman, devoted father of Jacqueline Ott, John R. Richards, III, Franklin Burr & Carolyn McCloskey, loving brother of Jersome Richards & the late Barbara Conrad, loving grandfather of 14 & great grandfather of 3. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wed. 3:30?5:15 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp. Followed by Masonic services at 5:15 PM and Funeral Services at 5:30 PM Interment at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
