Obituary of Claire A Connelly

Connelly, Claire nee Geitz, 79, of Woodbury, NJ suddenly on July 25, 2005. Claire was born in Woodbury, NJ. She graduated from Woodbury High School Class of 1944. She was a graduated of Women?s Homepathic Hospital, Philadelphia and served in the Cadet Nurses?s Corps of 1945. She worked as a nursing administrator at West Jersey Hospital, Camden, until 1986. She was a devoted nurse for over 30 years and a caretaker to those in need. She loved, cooking, singing , traveling, and was an avid shopper. She loved her PT Cruiser. Her children and family were her pride and joy. Gram was a friend and teacher to her grandchildren and had a song for every event in her life. She treasured spending time with her great grandchildren, the ?trips? and Sage, Claire cherished her fond memories of Christmas, Hawaii, Disney World, River Beach, traveling out west and loyal friends. Her energy and spirit were amazing. Claire is the beloved wife of the late William Connelly. Loving mother of Harley Sager and Gene Duke. Dear mother in law to Arlene Sager and Joseph Duke. Devoted grandmother of Kiersten Miller, Kiley Barker, Jarrod, Cainan, and Skyler Noon and Gregory Miller. Caring Great Grandmother to Abby, Gavin, and Aubrey Miller and Sage Barker. Dear sister of Joan Connelly and Donald Geitz. Predeceased by William, Elaine, and Michael Geitz. Visitation Friday at 9:30 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St, Woodbury Memorial Service 10 AM. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
