Obituary of Gerald P. Shannon

Gerald P. Shannon, Sr., of Deptford, formerly of Philadelphia, suddenly on July 28, 2005. Aged 63 years. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Gerald had resided in Deptford for the past 28 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Before retiring in November, 2004, Gerald was a Corrections Sergeant with the Gloucester County Dept. of Corrections in Woodbury for the past 21 years. His greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with his family, especially at the pool in the summertime. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the slots at the casinos and going to the race track. Beloved husband for 40 years of Frances J. Nee Hansen. Devoted father of Theresa Shannon, Colleen Michael McKeown, Lisa Sean McMahon, Tracey David Kaisinger, and Gerald P. Angie Shannon, Jr. Loving grandfather of Danielle, Brittney & Caitlyn McKeown, Samantha Shannon, Sean, Jr., Mackenzie & Alexander McMahon, Ryan & Erin Kaisinger, and Cheyenne Shannon. Dear brother of Patricia Feldman, James Shannon, Florence Bythrow, Robert Shannon, and the late Andrew Shannon.
