Obituary of Joseph F. Spytek

Spytek, Joseph F. Jr. of West Deptford, NJ on August 23, 2005. Aged 63 years. Born in Camden, Joe was raised in National Park. He later moved to the Colonial Manor Section of West Deptford where he has lived for many years. He worked as a meat cutter for Acme markets of Woodbury for over 38 1/2 years. Joe also was a professional guitar player with the Magnatones during the 1950?s and ?60?s. He performed at many local and nationally recognized venues including Club Al-Jo, The Emerald Room and the Freemont Hotel as well as serving as the backup band for Chubby Checker. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and watching baseball . He will be remembered as a hard working and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Joe is the beloved husband for 42 years to Beverly nee Howden. Devoted father of Susan Lynn Ken Graeber and Heather Ann Marcello Caridi. Loving grandfather of Rebecca, Elissa, Brittany and Vitoria. Dear brother of Frances Henry McLaughlin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joe is predeceased by his parents, Joseph F. Spytek, Sr. and Dorothy nee Bennett Spytek.
