Obituary of A. James Green

GREEN? A. James of Mantua previously a 36 year resident of Woodbury Hgts., NJ on Aug. 23, 2005. Aged 67 years. Jim was a proud graduate of Roman Catholic High and attended Drexel University. Prior to retirement, he worked as a self employed insurance agent most of his life. Jim was active in the Woodbury Heights Jaycees and Republican Club, and also served on the zoning board there. He enjoyed spending time at the YMCA, was an avid collector of coins & stamps, listened to country music and liked to play the slots in Atlantic City. What he will be most remembered for was his strong dedication and love of his family. Jim is the beloved husband of 49 years to Alice M nee Dougherty, devoted father of Denise Vereneault Joe, Deborah Breen Chuck, Jim Green Audrey, Diane Brander Dale Brake, Al Green Jean, Tommy Green Barbara, loving Pop-Pop / Grandpop of 12, dear youngest sibling to 5 surviving & 2 late sisters. Viewing Fri. 6:30-9 PM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ and Sat. 9-9:45 AM in St. Margaret RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Beech St., Woodbury Heights, NJ. Mass of Resurrection Sat. 10 AM in the Church. Interment will be private.
