Obituary of Arlene Short

SHORT?Arlene nee Yopp of Franklinville formerly of South Phila., on Aug. 29, 2005. Aged 60 years. Prior to retirement Arlene worked for the law firm Krauss, Katz & Ackerman, Phila. For 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her nieces & nephews and visiting the casinos in Atlantic City. Arlene will be remembered as a kind yet quiet woman who would always be there to help anyone. Beloved wife of the late John F., devoted mother of Kelly Carroll and her husband Dan , loving grandmother of Jack and Luke, dear sister of Eleanore Welischek & her husband Joseph, special aunt to Joe & Kim Welischek and Kim & Ken Smolsky and great aunt to Zachary, Trevor and Jacob. Funeral services Sat. 11 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Rd., Washington Twp., where relatives and friends may call after 9 AM. Interment will be private.
