Obituary of Judith Smashey

Judith Smashey, nee Hughes 67, of West Deptford died Saturday in her home. Beloved wife of Norman Smashey for 49 years. Mother of Joseph & his wife, Gina; Lori Ann Ferguson and Rich; Kathy Jo Wilson and her husband, Frank; Judy Hatcher and her husband Floyd; Linda Green and Norman McGuinness. Grandmother of Jennifer Glazer, Christina Vellucci, James Green, Tiffany Green, Beatrice Green, Joseph Smashey, Jr. Nicholas Smashey, Francis Wilson and Seth Wilson. Greatgrandmother of Tyler Ian Vellucci. Daughter of the late Lillian and Joseph Hughes. Judith enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, her cats and dogs and game shows, but her true passion was for her grandchildren. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM and Thursday from 9-10 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday in the funeral home. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park.
